How Must a Solution be Organized?

When thinking critically about the issue of agricultural land destruction as a result of urban sprawl it is important to keep a few things in mind.  In deciding how to take action against this problem, there are a number of distinct approaches one can take:

  1. Reduce Urban Sprawl
  2. Protect Existing Agricultural Land
  3. Make Agricultural Land More Economically Sustainable

Every discussion about how to solve this problem that is found on this blog will look at the issue from one of these three approaches.  I will also examine the solution for long term sustainability, primarily examining whether the opportunity is sufficient and whether there is sufficient capital and people at our disposal to make the solution work long-term.
